Learning how to code through biology

Why is it that over 50% of life sciences majors are women, but fewer than 20% of computer science majors are women? We’re here to get those of you who love biology interested in programming.

Genome Hackers is a one-week, half-day camp that takes place during the summer at the University of Washington. Our program is tailored for beginner and intermediate coders in both biotechnology and computer science.

We are also excited to announce that Genome Hackers is now running at University of Chicago! The Seattle SoundBio labs will be implementing a version of Genome Hackers this year as well.
